Nightly runtime is an energy-budget question
Runtime depends on the energy collected by the panel, stored by the battery and consumed by the LED and controller. Direct sun, season, panel cleanliness, mode and battery condition all change the result. A responsible specification states the charging conditions and mode behind an hour claim. Runtime after a cloudy day will not match runtime after a full summer charge.
The battery is usually the first service component
Rechargeable batteries lose capacity through repeated cycles, heat, deep discharge and age. As capacity falls, the light may switch off earlier even though the LED and panel are healthy. Replaceable cells therefore matter: they let the owner restore runtime without discarding the complete housing, lens, stake or decorative body.
LED life is not the same as fixture life
LEDs can operate for many thousands of hours, but that headline does not predict how long an outdoor solar fixture survives. After replacing a battery, reseat every gasket and close the compartment evenly so maintenance does not create a new leak path.

Agree on a sample and specification before production, then inspect battery labeling, gaskets, switches and run time across the batch. A low unit price can become expensive when every failure requires replacing an entire multi-pack.
When replacement is more sensible
If a new correct battery, clean panel and dry contacts do not restore operation, the charging circuit or LED board may have failed. Cracked housings, damaged seals and corroded wiring can make further repair uneconomic. For commercial assortments, designing access to common service parts is usually more practical than expecting consumers to repair sealed electronics.
