Use one observation sheet per model
Record the model, configuration, date received, accessories, and any temporary packaging. Then compare the same points across all samples. This separates an appearance preference from an operating issue or an unapproved packaging change.
Compare your options
| Consideration | What to check | Buying decision |
|---|---|---|
| Unpacking | Photograph the box, accessories, and model label. | Record missing or damaged items immediately. |
| Operation | Record charge or power conditions and selected mode. | Use consistent conditions for comparisons. |
| Approval | List accepted details and required revisions. | Give each model a clear release decision. |
Sample review checklist
Use the same written checklist for every sample so visual, functional, and packaging differences are easy to compare.
- Check appearance and housing finish
- Review charging and light attraction basics
- Confirm packaging and insert-card direction
- Note any changes before production release
Before you decide
Send one consolidated feedback list to the supplier. Number the issues and link each to a photo or observation. A sample approved with changes needs a written record of those changes before it can serve as the mass-production reference.
- Samples help confirm product direction before MOQ commitment
- Packaging and logo fit should be checked early
- Scene fit and perceived quality matter in sample review
- Function and charging performance should be noted before approval
